We are a performance troupe of women who dance, volunteer and entertain for the benefit of charities throughout the Lower Mainland!

Hourglass Cabaret is a performance troupe based in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

They have the ability to take it on the road so that they can showcase their talents almost anywhere in the Lower Mainland! Hourglass Cabaret provides shows for the benefit of local charities as well as providing their members an opportunity to learn, have fun, connect and blossom. šŸ’‹

This fabulous group of ladies offers a ā€œbroadā€ range of dance routines with gorgeous costumes and generous, delightful assistance at events. Their routines showcase women throughout the decades, 1900s to present day.

Hourglass Cabaret endeavours to provide you classy and sassy, ā€œall womanā€ entertainment. Nothing makes us happier than using our ā€œdangerous curvesā€ for good in the community!

Meet the Director!

Janice, or Cheeky Buffet as sheā€™s known when sheā€™s on stage, has a strong desire to share what she has learned over the years so that others can benefit from her dance and performance experiences. Dance has been a transformative activity and a blessing in her life since childhood, rediscovering it in her early 30s was just what the doctor ordered! Not only did it blossom over the years into having her own performance troupe, it continues to be a place of learning, growth, connection and creativity for her! Ā She shares this opportunity with a group of like minded women; performing and assisting at charity events all over the Lower Mainland. Hourglass Cabaret is made up of women of ā€œmatureā€ ages and varied backgroundsā€¦ some have danced before, some have not. Their message is to let your inner beauty shine and to love the body that youā€™re in. Community, connection and new friendships is an added bonus.Ā

Charity work, dance and bringing together women for the benefit of our community enhances the lives of everyone involved. It is truly an elixir of well-being. Her group has been giving back to the community via their volunteering and performances for well over 10 years.

With Janiceā€™s encouragement I have been able to achieve a life long dream of being part of a dance group and performing on stage! I never would have thought in a million years that in my late 50ā€™s I would be strutting my stuff and shaking my booty with such sassiness, style and grace. Thank you Janice!

Iā€™ve had the pleasure of working with Janice from Hourglass Cabaret, and also attending some of their fundraising events. I had Janice host a showgirls workshop at my dance studio, where she came and provided the instruction as well as costumes. And itā€™s always a fun time at the events Iā€™ve attended, as they engage the audience and sometimes even involve them! All the ladies are friendly and look like they are having so much fun when they perform. I would highly recommend this group for entertainment at a fundraiser event that you want to attract attention for, and keep people in attendance!
